SECTION 1
Audio Landscape Sectors

The audio landscape comprises four distinct sectors: streaming audio, podcasts, terrestrial radio, and satellite radio. Streaming audio refers to the digital distribution of music and audio content via internet platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. Podcasts are on-demand episodic series hosted by individuals, covering a diverse range of topics. Terrestrial radio involves the broadcast of AM/FM stations over the airwaves, while satellite radio offers subscription-based access to a wide variety of channels, predominantly through car receivers and some streaming options.
